Multi-volume, multi-genre author Suzy Collin introduces us to her book about finding hope, “Lost Hope”: We all face adversity, trials and suffering. Grief is universal. We can either be defeated or run into God's arms and immeasurably deepen our faith. The key to overcoming trials lies in which path we choose. We are most open to God during times of trial when we recognize our need for Him. The answers to all questions are found in God's Word, His simple, direct and perfect instructions for us in any situation. The Bible is a roadmap to recovery, healing and triumph. It is the only roadmap to a successful, peaceful life, presenting answers for how to accept any circumstance. This book presents the gospel of "opposites," the tenets of Christ's ways vs. the ways of our world and the need for a re-awakening to discover God's perfect plan. Lost Hope has four faces: Sadness, Fear, Depression and Despair. The story does not have to end there. The path for recovery and overcoming is the path that takes us in to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Pain can be the very entry point when we run into His awaiting arms. The choice is ours to make. I love hearing the testimonies of people who have been healed and comforted by God. I have received my own unmerited share of healing and comfort from God. HE is truly wonderful and these stories set in the real lives of these women are for our encouragement and blessing. The author also shares the basics of having a personal relationship with God and the means to growing spiritually in a daily walk with Jesus our Savior. Get ready to receive blessings from God and ask the Holy Spirit to explain what you don't understand. You can buy this book:

Multi-genre, multi-volume author Maurice Barkley introduces us to the third volume in his fantastic series, “Lost and Forgotten: Enigma”: THE PAST IS NEVER DEAD, IT ONLY HIDES. In the pursuit of a thing that is evil and dangerous, often the hunter becomes the hunted. Evil hides behind more than one mask. I am committed to not giving away spoilers but this might be a very difficult promise to keep, this time! The first two books are quite fabulous and I was humming along enjoying the witty dialogue and the plot surprises in both books. There are many fun and thrilling moments. The author has a deft hand in creating a marvelous picture in my mind without overly detailed descriptions. The action sequences are quite good with a fast pace. All of that continues in this third volume. The intensity of plot twists has climbed to a new level and I think I need to see a chiropractor for my whiplash! I am almost afraid to get the next book. But I can’t stand not knowing the rest of the story. And lonesome Joe is now Jo. But I can't say anymore except read these books! You can buy this book:

Multi-volume, women’s crime fiction author, Samantha Smith introduces us to the first volume in her “Jane’s Business” series about being the daughter of a mafia boss, “Jane’s Revenge”: Jane is a young but smart, fearless, and brave woman. She was born in a wealthy, but extremely sexist family and was never included in anything related to the family business. She had always wanted to be successful and decided that she would make her own rules and wouldn’t let anyone get in her way. She never expected her dad to be the one to become an obstacle towards her success. Her father, Paul, ran one of the largest and most successful crime families on the East Coast. Her father died from an attack and her brother, Rico, saw this as the perfect chance to get control of everything. Her brother decided to kidnap her, because he saw her as an impediment to him taking the power and he didn’t want her to know what had happened to her father. After a long time of being kept hidden, she escaped. She obviously wouldn’t stay quiet and act like nothing happened, she wasn’t going to be the same. She wasn't going to let her brother step on her like that, she was going to get her revenge for everything, and she was going to become the master and everyone would have to listen to her rules and she’d be the one in control now. Great story! Jane escapes from her brother's clutches and finds a new, lifelong ally in the process. I enjoyed the dialogue so much and with lots of action the story moves forward at a good pace. Descriptions are just right, not overwhelming. You can buy this book:

Schultz except for the author’s introduction Multi-volume, multi-genre author Susan Sage introduces us to her latest and most personal book, a partially fictional memoir of recent ancestors from approximately 100 years ago, “Dancing in the Ring”: Detroit in the 1920s proved to be the Paris of the West for many—including Catherine McIntosh and Robert Sage. These two law school students are as passionate about each other as they are their dreams. From a poor family in the neighborhood of Corktown, Catherine learned early on, the necessity of being resilient. She becomes one of the first women in Detroit to obtain a law degree. Bob, the 'battling barrister,' boxes in order to pay for law school. Despite his gruff and tough-boy personality, he is a friend to all: judges, cops, and even a couple members of the notorious Purple Gang. The couple becomes legendary in legal circles for their commitment to social justice causes—as well as notorious in the local speakeasies and dance halls. At first, their optimism seems boundless, as it had for many following an era of trauma and challenges that included the 1918 flu pandemic. It isn't long before their passionate courtship turns into a tempestuous marriage. Then the Great Depression hits and their lives are forever changed. The author has leaped several hurdles in one bound! Not only providing an interesting and satisfying story, but she also offers a fictional memoir of some of her ancestors and insight into America a century ago! The story itself is deep with multiple currents running through it and provides insights into the lives of a variety of people. I loved this story and so will you. I give it 4.8 stars! "I'm very pleased with all your efforts. Twitter promotion and proofreading were beyond what I expected with a book review. Your suggestions throughout the process of refining both books helped me immensely. I look forward to working with you again." A.E.H Veenman “Dial QR for Murder” and “Prepped for the Kill”
