“When kids awake on an island, they’re told there was an accident. Before they can go home, they will visit Foreverland, an alternate reality that will heal their minds. Reed dreams of a girl that tells him to resist Foreverland. He doesn’t remember her name, but knows he once loved her. He’ll have to endure great suffering and trust his dream. And trust he’s not insane. Danny Boy, the new arrival, meets Reed’s dream girl inside Foreverland. She’s stuck in the fantasy land that no kid can resist. Where every heart’s desire is satisfied. Why should anyone care how Foreverland works?”
The author introduces us to Foreverland in a shocking way. There are many dark shadows hanging over the place and this story. We meet a number of boys that appear to be alone in the world. While they are promised healing, they quickly learn they are prisoners. They are offered unlimited delights and diversions for not asking questions. Tony has created a fascinating place that could be now. His characters are for the most part believable and understandable. Some of the action is a little cloudy, and Sid's character seems rather underdeveloped considering the fairly central role he plays throughout the story. Reed’s story is the other that could have received more exposure. I sense there could have been an early conflict between Reed and Sid, before Danny arrives. I do not want to give away any more about the story. It was a great read, it drew me in completely and was very hard to put down. I enjoyed “The Annihilation of FOREVERLAND” immensely, and consider it one of the five best books I have read so far this year. Even more amazing for me, I did not find a single spelling error. This story is rated 4.5 stars out of 5! Great reading pleasure! The book is free on Tony’s website. You will not be sorry. "I'm very pleased with all your efforts. Twitter promotion and proofreading were beyond what I expected with a book review. Your suggestions throughout the process of refining both books helped me immensely. I look forward to working with you again." A.E.H Veenman “Dial QR for Murder” and “Prepped for the Kill”
